About Tamara . . .

I am passionate about helping my clients find relief from aching, pain, and stress. Making a significant difference in their well-being is what truly fulfills me as a massage therapist. Many of my clients have been with me for over 10 years, and I genuinely care about each individual's journey to feeling better.

I have a bachelor's of science from Radford University in physical education focused in sports medicine.  I've had classes in sports injuries, anatomy, kinesiology, exercise physiology.

I attended Daniel's Institute of Massage in 2009.

I am certified in Virginia through the board of nursing.

I personally have lifted weights, played sports, been a runner, minored in dance at RU and also have experienced my share of injuries and recovery.  This has given me a deep understanding of many injuries and what it takes to recover and I've been lucky to help many others recover too.

Beyond the standard massage experience

What sets me apart?

I think my personal experience in playing sports, weight training and my own injuries plus my education from Radford University, National Academy of Sports Medicine for personel training certification sets me apart from many massage therapists in the Roanoke Valley.  I've also had my own massage practice for over 16 years and with all that experience I've learned a lot about how to help my clients get better.

I provide a full hour or 90-minute massage, dedicating the entire time to hands-on work unlike many places that offer only appointment times.  I also listen intently to your needs, tailoring each session to what you require that day, rather than imposing a preconceived plan. I truly care about helping the people I work on.

Your comfort, my priority

Making sure each massage is perfect for you is my top priority. I focus on your main concerns first, whether it's an aching back, sciatic pain, or neck pain, to ensure ample time is spent addressing your discomfort and helping you feel much better before your session concludes.

"Tamara has a true gift for healing. Her massages are not just relaxing, they're truly therapeutic and make a real difference in my pain."
